Minou Family Benefit and Offbeat Awards

Bonjour vous-autres! We’re looking forward to this coming weekend where we will share the stage with our good friends Brass Bed (www.brassbedisbrassbed.com) for our Christmas show at Artmosphere in Lafayette, LA. Also this weekend we are happy to be apart of the Minou family benefit hosted by our other good buddies GIVERS. The Minou family’s house burnt down and lost everything. They have been good friends to the band as well as active members of the community here in Acadiana.

January brings us back to New Orleans where we will be performing at D.B.A as well as the Offbeat Awards. It’s the award show’s 20th anniversary and we couldn’t be happier to be apart of it. Other acts include Jon Cleary and a tribute to Cyril Neville. Check it out here… Offbeat Award Show.

P.S. The new album is in the can and we’ve been working with some exciting people to get it out to the world. We are expecting a release in the spring. We’ll be updating y’all regularly with news of the record.

This week we’ll be back in Austin at Good Danny’s to finish recording our new album. This will be our first with Andrew Toups and Kelli Jones-Savoy. Follow us on Twitter and Instagram to keep up with what were doing.

Also, we’re happy to announce that we’re nominated for “Best Cajun Band” by Gambit magazine for their Big Easy Awards out of New Orleans. Our good friends Lost Bayou Ramblers and Bruce Daigrepont are also nominated. Check out the rest of the categories and nominees here.
